What is new?
- The Well Barrier Schematic now includes three text columns; name of well barrier element, its acceptance criteria and monitoring requirement (new) which enables you to see relationships between initial acceptance (initial pressure/function test) and monitoring during use (frequent pressure and function testing, inspections, analysis, etc.)
-
A new graphics module which allows you to easily edit the illustration itself :
- Casing cement height can be dragged up/down
- BOP ram configuration and choke and kill line positions can be adjusted
- Components can be added: gas-lift valves, tie-backs, perforated joints, straddles, etc.
- Lower completion can be changed from a perforated liner to a screen or gravel packed or slotted liner
- X-mas Tree can be interchanged - select between dry, horizontal subsea or vertical subsea trees
- Casings string configuration include maximum 10 casing/liner sizes.
- The above features reduces the number of illustrations in the library, which gives you a better overview and ability to find what you need.
- A flow diagram editor module allows you to create and save well control action / well shut-in diagrams. These help your team / service contractor to prepare for situations that are likely to occur. This is particularly relevant for activities that are not frequently performed on the rig, for instance coiled tubing or snubbing operations.
- The export/download function of the well barrier illustration into a risk assessment form gives you a good start to evaluate the robustness and acceptance of common well barrier elements. Available in both Microsoft Word or Excel format.
